I was not sure Aiden was old enough to go to VBS this year. Alf and I went to drop off Athan and maybe Aiden - with crossed fingers. They took BOTH of them!! This VBS meets at night AND feeds them dinner - yeah buddy
We will enjoy a starbucks(someone gave Alf a GC), eat out (with half price coupons), and I will attempt to Golf with Alf (golf courses make Alf happy:)
I love my husband!! God has richly blessed me with a gentle, understanding, hard working, funny man.
He is gentle with his touch and with his words. Even though it aggravates me when he tells me to lower my voice while we are 'throwing down' about something probably stupid:) I can count on one hand the times he has raised his voice. That means alot to me.
He is understanding in that he deals with my 'stuff' He listens well and tries to understand my thoughts and feelings. He understands my role as a mom and the challenges it brings. He steps in without me asking most times.
He is a hard worker at work and at home. He puts alot of sweat and heart into his job but does well not letting it consume him. He gives alot of time in making our home nice (digging big plants for me, washing siding, cleaning carpet, etc)
Lastly, he is funny! I had someone ask me one time if I laugh all the time being married to him. OK, he is not THAT funny:) He keeps things real. He throws just a little bit of sarcasm in there too. His humor is what I need in my life and God knew that.
Im excited about our date nights!! (and sex anytime between 5:30 and 8:45)
