Building the immune system

Athan stayed home - Again! He got "stomach sick" for the third time since school started. Other moms are assuring me that this is common for being the first year of school. Uuugg! On a positive note: Although I was thinking my day was screwed at four in the morning sitting on the edge of the tub with my sweet five yr old, I ended up loving my day!
Me and the boys had a great day looking at old pictures, finishing up pirate costumes for halloween, Aiden helped me make pumpkin sugar cookies, we did a project that Athan had been wanting to do, and I attempted to play monster truck WII with Athan (he is way better then me)

whoo hoo!!!! so excited to see allison. you are so cool! (side note: my mom just pulled the biggest peach cobbler out of the oven and it smells wonderful. it was cause my dad bought these peaches b/c they looked good but they tasted awful, so my mom made peach cobbler). glad to see you blogging. looking forward to reading and commenting more.

oooh, me hates the stomach bug. I have questions though. Did he throw up in the tub or were you just sitting on the side of the tub while he threw up in the toilet? I'm very curious and interested in this. And a little worried about it honestly. What if it was chunky and it didn't go down the drain? Eeeewww! Then what?

I love that you're blogging now! It makes me so very happy.

Gross Abbey!! Don't stress, it went down the toilet. He is truly a clean thrower upper and trooper. Out of the three times, I had to clean a pillow case!

OH I am so glad to see you here. I have been wondering what was new in your world. T. and I were talking about Alf last Saturday. I think of him every time the glare from my white legs blinds me. I will never forget him stopping his car to tell me he couldn't see for the blinding glare from my legs. It made me so mad and yet made me laugh so hard! I treasure my memories of both of you.

Okay, so I have LOL at your comments here ... and somehow didn't add your blog to my bloglines so I didn't know you posted like 4 days ago. Glad Athan is a clean upchucker and you have no chunks in your tub. The blinding legs is SOOO Alf it make me laugh. I think I'd rather be dubbed as Amish. ;) Don't tell him that, though. Can't wait to see some pics of the pirates.
